He Tohu is a permanent exhibition at the National Library
of New Zealand in Wellington that celebrates the three constitutional
documents that shaped New Zealand: The 1835 Declaration of Independence of
the United Tribes of New Zealand (He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu
Tireni), the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi (Te Tiriti o Waitangi) and the 1893
Women's Suffrage Petition (Te Petihana Whakamana Poti
Wahine).
